Sunday Liturgy & Announcements for July 13

We post the liturgy from the week so it will be accessible to you throughout the week. We encourage you to work through the catechism or be reminded about what Scripture was read in the service on Lords Day.

  • Call To Worship

    LEADER

Psalm 48:9 We have thought on your steadfast love, O God,

in the midst of your temple.

10 As your name, O God,

so your praise reaches to the ends of the earth.

Your right hand is filled with righteousness.

11 Let Mount Zion be glad!

Let the daughters of Judah rejoice

    because of your judgments!

  • Catechism (from baptist catechism)

Where is the moral law summarily comprehended?

The moral law is summarily comprehended in the ten commandments.

  • Confession

    LEADER

1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.

2 Corinthians 6:16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said,

“I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them,

and I will be their God,

and they shall be my people.

  • Assurance

    LEADER

1 Corinthians 6:9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

    Pastor’s Coffee

Your first step at Branches is pastors coffee. Get to know more about the church over good coffee. To sign up or learn more, please visit the Connect Desk.

    If You are New

If you are an out of town guest, then welcome. May you be blessed in Christ before your journey to your home and church. May the preached word benefit you and your church back home. If you are new to Christianity or looking for a church then please consider coming weekly for several weeks in a row. That will help you process along with a pastor if this church is where you will attend and eventually join. As a minister of the gospel I say this with the utmost care and hope for your soul which needs Christ Jesus our Lord.

    Family Integrated Service

We love having children during the service and do not mind a bit of noise. But if your child needs a place for extra noise making or to roam about during the sermon, the foyer is available with live video and audio feed.

    Membership Class

[For all attending the membership class, it will be after the Sunday service.]

If you are interested in joining the church then please speak with pastor Israel about setting up a class. Why should you join a church? And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:47).
